How to Set Up Linksys AX5300 Using Android Device?
In this guide, you’ll learn about how to configure the Linksys AX5300 Velop whole home WiFi 6 system using an Android device. The Linksys Velop setup process requires the Linksys app that’s installed on the Android mobile device. Ensure to have the latest version of OS installed on your phone before you begin. Consider updating it right away if not yet done. Once done, follow the instructions provided in the upcoming section.
Linksys AX5300 Velop Setup via App
It is to be ensured that there’s an active internet connection before you start installing the Velop system in your home.
Next, install the Linksys app latest version on your Android smartphone. Meanwhile, perform the steps that are highlighted ahead:
- Place the Linksys AX5300 main node close to the internet modem. For your information, you can use any node as the parent node or main node. All other nodes act as child nodes. Let the child nodes be unplugged yet.
- Now, launch the Linksys app.
- Tap on Launch setup at the bottom.
- Next tap on Turn on Bluetooth. Tap Allow on the pop-up.
- Give the Terms and Conditions agreement a read and tap Agree to continue further.
- The system will now look for the Linksys node.
- When prompted, select Velop Whole Home WiFi.
- When the node is detected, the light on it will blink in purple color.
- When it does, tap on Yes, It’s Blinking Purple.
