How to Set Up Router Using Linksys Smart WiFi Setup Wizard?
- Turn off your modem for some time.
- Begin by connecting the devices. Take an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable and insert one of its ends into the LAN port of the modem and the other end into the Internet port of the Linksys router.
- Power up your modem now.
- Connect any external antennas if available to the router and plug its power adapter into a wall socket and switch it on.

- Linksys smart WiFi setup wizard will launch.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Next.
- You can choose to use the setup wizard to assist you in the setup process or bypass the setup wizard and do it all manually and click Next.
- A new window Updates for your router will open up. You can select Auto updates or manual updates.
- Assign the router WiFi name and password and click Next. You can choose to have the same name for all WiFi bands.
- The internet connection will be temporarily disconnected now. It is now time that you connect to your router’s network using the new WiFi name and password.
- Create an admin password for your Linksys router and click Next.

Can’t Set Up Linksys Router using Smart Setup Wizard?

1. Check Connectivity
